Today was a great day to race and God was gracious enough to let me toe the start line, He saw me through the race and carried me across the finish line. I ran my third Mercedes Half Marathon (Todd Deffenbaugh just completed #17-wow) this morning and finished 50th overall and won my age group(Gray Beard Club 50-54). I ran 1:30:17, a 6:54 pace and was able to keep all miles under 7:00. All the Glory to Him and thank you for the blessing of running.

Shout outs to running buddy and neighbor Marcus Harris for a Top 35 and 1:25 finish, Jeff Clark on his Marathon finish after some hamstring issues last month and Danny(Mitzi Mitzi Shaffield) Shaffield on his top 50 and sub 1:30 finish.

It’s great running with all of you, thank you for the competition but mostly your encouragement and friendship.
